Director - Supply Chain & Operations & ERP

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Operations professional (Director rank and upwards) to drive business development, delivery excellence, people leadership and strategic positioning. The candidate will act as the commercial, professional and cultural leader within the Supply Chain domain and will work closely with fellow Partners in the leadership team to strengthen Unify Partner's overall market position.

The ideal candidate is able to bridge industry and consulting, drive business development initiatives and diversify our client portfolio, lead complex transformation projects and provide people-oriented leadership across both external projects and internal initiatives. 

Success in this role is measured across three primary domains:

Business Development
  • Expand and commercialise Unify Partner's position within the Supply Chain advisory area through clear subject matter expertise and strong client relationships. 
  • Win and lead large transformation programmes spanning the intersection of Supply Chain Excellence, ERP and Data/AI. 
Strategy
  • Ensure the unification and development of Supply Chain & Operations and ERP as a core service offering area
  • Contribute to building new growth areas for Unify Partners, particularly within AI & Supply Chain
People & Leadership
  • Strengthen and maintain engagement, professional development and retention among consultants within the SC&O service offering area. 
  • Ensure cohesion across the Supply Chain offering and Unify Partner's other service offerings
  • Provide employees with clear professional and cultural leadership. 

Key Responsibilities


Commercial Development
  • Drive sales, pipeline development and relationship building with key clients
  • Develop strategic relationships at CxO level and translate expertise into business for Unify Partners
  • Develop proposals and commercial offerings within the intersection of Supply Chain & ERP
  • Contribute to building a strong sales and consulting culture at Unify Partners.
Professional & Strategic Development
  • Further develop the Supply Chain area as a primary discipline and ERP & Business Solutions as a secondary - but closely related - discipline.
  • Lead Supply Chain projects including: End-to-End Supply Chain Design, Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Inventory Planning, ERP Replacements and Implementations, In-and Outsourcing Initiatives and ensuring process maturity before technology shifts. 
  • Contribute to the development of new Service Offering overlaps with Supply Chain, with a special focus on AI & Supply Chain for example: AI-based optimisation solutions in production and use of data, sensors, and visual technologies to drive performance improvements. 
Leadership & People Development
  • Professionally lead consultants with both direct and indirect responsibilities in project settings. 
  • Build strong working relationships through continuous dialogue, support, and regular touchpoints. 
  • Ensure alignment between leadership values and day-to-day behaviours.

Qualifications, we hope you will bring

Background 
  • Engineering degree (i.e. DTU) or MSc in Supply Chain Management (CBS)
  • Strong combination of industry experience and external consulting experience. Candidates are expected to have more than 8 years experience.
    • Proven advanced consulting toolkit, demonstrated through consistent origination of work, trusted CxO relationships, sponsorship of complex deliveries, development of senior consultants, and contribution to firm‑level growth and culture.
  • Experience from industrial or manufacturing environments (potentially MedTech).
  • Fluent in Danish and English.

Subject Matter Expertise 
  • Supply Chain expertise as the primary area of subject matter expertise including:
    • Supply chain strategies
    • Supply chain planning
    • Warehouse management
    • Network optimisation
  • ERP as a secondary area of expertise
    • Experience with ERP rollouts, particularly in the context of Supply Chain processes
  • Understanding of the interplay between production and warehouse operations.
  • Experience with in- and outsourcing.

Technical Skills 
  • Solid data understanding and confidence working with large data sets
  • Knowledge of PowerBI and general data visualisation tools
  • Hands-on understanding of ERP systems and comfortable working directly in the systems
  • Strong working knowledge of the Supply Chain module in either Microsoft Dynamics 365 or SAP.

  • Relationally strong and able to build a sense of team cohesion and invest time in colleagues personal and professional development
